BOOKLET DESCRIPTION:
An at-a-glance overview of Supported Employment (SE), the evidence-based practice for people with severe mental illness. SE provides rapid job-search and placement services for competitive jobs in the community, as well as individualized, time-unlimited follow-along services.
Communicate with multiple audiences about the structure and advantages of SE. This document is an ideal tool for educating, training, and building consensus for SE among service providers, service organizations, service systems, community stakeholders, families, and consumers, among others. Use it in meetings, presentations, staff recruitment and orientation, and training to inspire clinical change, organizational change, and systems change, including improved outcomes for mental health recovery.
